José first joined The Coca-Cola system in 1993 when he was initially recruited to establish the business in Mozambique from a zero base and led the business there until 2003. He was then seconded to Coca-Cola Southern Africa on a two year assignment as Revenue Growth Manager. From 2006 until 2009 José was the General Manager of Conco Ltd, the concentrate plant in Swaziland. José also served as a Trustee of the Africa Foundation and on the board of the Royal Swaziland Sugar Corporation. José is fluent in English, Portuguese and Afrikaans.

Currently José is the Supply Chain Manager at the SA Business Unit including oversight of Stills beverages manufacturing and the Juice optimization project.

José is a Chartered Accountant CA(SA), obtained from The University of Port Elizabeth and a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, ACMA.
