    • Valpre Sparkling

Valpre is spring water by definition. The first Valpre farm was established in 1984 in Paulpietersburg, Natal Midlands. In 2008, a second Valpre farm was founded in Lagerspoort in the Heidelberg area. Valpre is bottled at Lagerspoort in Heidelberg.

On its long journey through the earth, our spring water moves through different soil and rock layers that imbue it with the minerals that are responsible for its unique composition. To preserve these extraordinary properties, our bottling process is designed to ensure that the water is bottled as close as possible to how we found it.

Valpre is distinguished by its naturally sweet taste and is available in 500ml PET Still, 500ml PET Sparkling, 1L PET Sparkling and 1.5L PET Still. Valpre is now also bottled in 350ml Glass Still, 350ml Glass Sparkling, 750ml Glass Still and 750ml Glass Sparkling – currently only available in selected outlets in the Gauteng and Kwa Zulu Natal regions. A registered product of TheCoca-Cola Company, it is regularly and independently tested to maintain its high quality at all times.

Valpre PET is made from PlantBottle Packaging – PlantBottle is our latest breakthrough innovation in packaging. It is the first ever fully recyclable PET plastic beverage bottle made partially from plants. PlantBottle packaging is made from PET consisting of up to 30 percent plant material, with the same functionality and shelf life as current PET bottles.

This unrelenting commitment to quality is what has made Valpre South Africa’s most successful bottled water brand and led to Valpre being awarded the Monde Selection Gold Quality award for best spring water.

  • Product Quality

    • We measure key product and package quality attributes by focusing on ingredients and materials, and regulating manufacturing, bottling and distribution, of TheCoca-Cola Company products to ensure those products meet Company requirements and consumer expectations in the marketplace.

As TheCoca-Cola Company expands our beverage portfolio and supplier base to meet the increasing demands of growing and developing markets around the world, customer and consumer expectations and regulatory scrutiny continue to rise. The global nature of our business requires that The Coca-Cola System has the highest standards and processes to ensure consistent quality—from our concentrate production to our bottling and product delivery.

To ensure such consistency and reliability, The Coca-Cola System is governed by The Coca-Cola Operating Requirements (KORE) , a new management system which replaced The Coca-Cola Management System (TCCMS) in January 2010. KORE enables The Coca-Cola System to address the changing business landscape while supporting our Company's strategic growth plans by creating an integrated quality management programme which holds all of our operations, system wide, to the same standards for production and distribution of our beverages.

KORE guarantees the highest standards in product safety and quality, occupational safety and health and environmental standards across the whole of The Coca-Cola System by outlining clear requirements for the policies, specifications and programmes that guide our operations. With endorsement from leadership throughout The Coca-Cola System, KORE integrates business and quality objectives and aligns them with consistent metrics to monitor performance; integrates preventive action as a management tool with more rigorous demands when introducing new products and services; incorporates Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) into our system standards; manages risk in our Company and bottling operations and across our supply chain; and defines problem-solving methods and tools to drive consistent quality with improvements.

To stay current with new regulations, industry best practices and marketplace conditions, we consistently reassess the relevance of our requirements and guidelines not only in manufacturing, but throughout the entire supply chain.
